Run for Orbis in 2024’s Great Ethiopian Run!
Tired of the same old travel experiences? Orbis is calling upon adventurous travelers full of passion to join us in exploring Africa. Experience the thrill of running while raising funds, making every moment of the journey meaningful.

Date: Nov 12- 19, 2024
Location: Ethiopia, Africa

Itinerary:
Day 1 - Midnight direct flight (Ethiopian Airlines) from Hong Kong to Addis Ababa
Day 2 - Domestic flight to Arba Minch
Day 3 - Visit Orbis local work, observe live surgeries, visit local clinic and school
Day 4 - Sightseeing，domestic flight to Addis Ababa
Day 5 - Sightseeing，attend the Great Ethiopian Run Pasta Party in the evening
Day 6 - Compete and have fun at the Great Ethiopian Run
Day 7 - Sightseeing，evening flight from Addis Ababa to Hong Kong
Day 8 - Arrive Hong Kong

Great Ethiopian Run
Established in 2001 by global long-distance running legend, Haile Gebrselassie, the Great Ethiopian Run attracts over 40,000 international athletes every year to visit Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa, and run a 10kms race some 10,000 feet above sea level. Despite coming from many different nations, runners in the event are united by a shared goal – to make our world a better place. So, join the Orbis team and raise funds that will bring hope in sight for thousands of visually impaired Ethiopians with every step you take.
