Donate your 2022’s last hour of salary to save sight

Donate your last hour of salary to support the visually impaired and our Volunteer Faculty to fight avoidable blindness!

2022 is coming to an end. While the global pandemic is finally easing, Covid-19 has caused a tremendous ophthalmological backlog. The increasing number of patients has far exceeded what the local trained medical staff can handle. Fortunately, our Flying Eye Hospital will be back in action next year and will resume in-person training. With plans flying to Latin America, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Mongolia and etc., our volunteers are actively preparing themselves while counting the days until they can once again carry out large-scale sight-saving projects and face-to-face ophthalmological training in the communities where the need is greatest.

To ensure everyone has access to quality eye care, Orbis works closely with local hospitals to upgrade health policies for the better and develop lasting bonds with people around the globe to ensure a long-term impact. Your support can develop the skills of eye care professionals and clear the backlog caused by the pandemic, restoring eyesight to thousands of people.

Due to the economic downturn, we’ve experienced a significant fall in the donations needed to fund our backlog of eye care missions. As a result, we need your support more urgently than ever! Please donate your last hour of salary to support the visually impaired and our Volunteer Faculty to fight avoidable blindness!
