Orbis respectfully urges all local businesses and public organizations to help raise funds this Orbis World Sight Day 2022! Please encourage your staff or members to organize charity fundraisers to bring hope to countless needlessly blind lives!

To encourage businesses and social groups to raise funds and awareness during World Sight Day 2022, all staff/members who make a donation of any size will receive an eye-catching commemorative pin. Those donating HK$1,000 or over will receive a highly collectible limited-edition set containing all four designs. Keen to help make our world a more inclusive and compassionate place? Then please encourage your colleagues and co-members to play their part by making a donation!

We also welcome organizations to enroll by post. Pins will be sent out on or before September 29 to coordinator if we received the donations on or before September 19. Thereafter, pins will be delivered on or before November 10. Please complete the enrollment form and collect donations. If bank-in slip is failed to provide, we regret that NO receipts and pins will be arranged. Official receipt will be issued to participants donating HK$100 or above.

Orbis warmly invites companies and groups wishing to bolster their team spirit by hosting fundraising activities such as World Sight Day-themed photo days, auctions or other online activities. Just remember to be creative and have fun!

Receive a set of fun photo props when you donate a combined sum of HK$20,000 or over! There’ll be a super-deluxe reward in the form of two ultra-rare limited edition 89-piece 24cm Orbis Flying Eye Hospital models for teams whose joint donations reach HK$50,000! You could even run a World Sight Day draw in your office/club with the toys as prizes for the lucky winners!

All participating organizations’ staff, group members and partners supporting World Sight Day 2022 on October 13^th will also be invited to take and upload snaps of themselves wearing their pins to social media. Please also free to encourage your people to share their pictures and sight-saving messages via social media (#OrbisWorldSightDay2022).

The names of the “Top Five Fundraising organizations”, “Top Five Organizations with the Most Participants”, and the logos of participating organizations raising HK$60,000 or over will appear in our acknowledgment ad in Hong Kong Economic Journal.

Each participating organization will also receive a certificate of appreciation from Orbis, while long-term supporters who have continuously supported World Sight Day for three or more years will receive a special version of this acknowledgment.

Orbis will hold a World Sight Day Awards Ceremony in October to thank fundraising award winners and other participants.
