Students donating as little as HK$40 will receive one of four World Sight Day 2022 commemorative pins, all of which have been beautifully designed by leading local illustrators. As the more awareness and funds the event generates the better, teachers and staff are also welcome to demonstrate their compassion for needlessly blind children by making donations.

Throughout its 40-year history of saving and restoring sight, Orbis has always been grateful for the help it has received from local schools and colleges. We once again invite students/pupils, teachers, and staff at local seats of learning to follow on in that tradition by helping us raise both awareness of – and funds for – the needlessly blind.

In the run up to World Sight Day 2022 on October 13th, we encourage all participating teachers and students to wear their Orbis pins. If it is inconvenient for your school to do so on the actual day, please simply pick a more suitable date of your own choosing.
Orbis is more than happy to provide an eyecare talk on the theme of "World Sight Day", so that students can better understand the global blindness issues and the importance of the eyes! The event can also help cultivate their empathy and care for the visually impaired.
Orbis Certificate of Appreciation
Orbis sincerely appreciates local schools’ and colleges’ support in illuminating the world’s darkest corners. To this end, all eligible educational establishments supporting World Sight Day 2022 will receive a certificate of appreciation, while academic supporters of three or more consecutive years’ standing will be awarded a special congratulatory version.
We will also publish a full-page thank-you ad in a local newspaper, listing the names of all participating schools. #
