Hong Kong - Employment - Communications Manager (Ref.: HKCM-COM-O0621)

Based on Orbis’s communications plan, the incumbent is responsible for raising Orbis awareness and deploy Orbis communications campaigns and activities in cost effective manner. He/she should proactively engage high level influencers such as celebrities, community’s leaders, school decision makers and key stakeholders.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure Orbis awareness is raised while brand image and reputation being protected.
  • Incubate celebrities, KOLs, creative agencies, and digital professionals to achieve defined results.
  • Develop and implement influencer marketing to boost endorsements.
  • Work in partnership with other functional teams to ensure efficient management of Orbis’s fundraising campaigns and communications initiatives.
  • Proactively identify key stakeholders from affinity communities, parent groups and educational units.
  • Supervise and mentor communications team members and functionally linked to achieve their agreed communications objectives.
  • Assist Director, Communications to develop and implement various fundraising or communications activities.
  • Provide ad hoc and coordinated support when required.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • University degree majoring in language, journalism, mass communications or other related disciplines
  • 7 years or above working experience in communications or journalism


KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Good leadership skills and team player
  • Cheerful in personally and happy to turn strangers into friends
  • Ability to work under pressure and respect deadlines
  • Committed to Orbis missions and values
  • Knowledge of MS office applications, Photoshop. Ability to use AI is a plus
