Five-year-old Vietnamese girl, Han, has suffered from ptosis in her left eye since birth. Having experienced an unsuccessful surgery, the little girl never imagined a future where she could see clearly. Thanks to the advance medical equipment and surgical skills of the Orbis Flying Eye Hospital brought to Vietnam last year, Han could finally see perfectly again after becoming the first patient to step on board for treatment.

Currently, there are 500,000 visually impaired individuals in Vietnam, including 300,000 children. While blindness falls steadily these last 10 years, the country’s eyecare infrastructure in rural areas continues to struggle. Please do all you can to help Orbis save youngsters like Han from lives of unending blackness.
