Hong Kong - Employment - Senior Development Executive
Responsible for the implementation of sustainable fundraising strategies for Orbis which draw on the resources and build awareness within the segments of organizations team, with the goal of maximizing support for Orbis fundraising objectives. The segments include corporations, associations, foundations, and religious groups.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cultivate and work with potential partners on fundraising initiatives.
- Initiate, plan, implement and evaluate direct marketing campaigns and other fundraising campaigns.
- Maintain good relationship and identify fundraising opportunities with potential/existing donors.
- Develop communication materials within the team.
- Solicit gift-in-kind donation for assigned fundraising campaigns.
- Follow up stewardship recognition and loyalty plan for corporate donors.
- Research and update market intelligence about trend and other corporate fundraising programs.
- Build awareness and organize customized charity staff engagement activities for corporate donors.
- Assist and participate in other Orbis’s activities as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- University graduate in marketing, business administration or related disciplines
- 3-5 years of working experience in business development, sales and marketing management
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese / Mandarin
- Good project management and communication skills
- Team player with a positive can-do attitude
- Attention to details and able to meet deadlines
- Good presentation skills and telephone manner
- Capable to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficient in MS Office. Familiarity with tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) will be a plus.
- Candidate with more experience will be considered as Assistant Development Manager.
